The credit totally typically remains the same as for a single-topic degree (at least 120 credits for a Bachelor’s) and students who plan their studies carefully will not need to spend additional time in school to complete a double major.

    In any Bachelor’s degree of at university, you are required to complete a major, or an area that you will specialise in. So by studying a double major, you are opting to specialise in two areas rather than one.
