In an era of technology, most universities have also upgraded by taking some of it courses online. The University of Cape Town is not an exemption. University of Cape Town offers 23 open online courses hosted on FutureLearn and Coursera that are free and that anyone can join. This is made possible through the university’s Massive Open Online Courses(MOOCS) initiative. These courses are free and anyone can join. There are no entry requirements and these are not for university credit. One can choose to purchase a certificate, and in some cases financial aid is available.
