I do not know about this though, but some individuals may be quick learners and learn many things on their own. I must add that most of the engineering programs have certain common grounds, where a computer engineer, telecom engineer and electrical engineer can be employed to do the same thing, even though they are all different. There are some aspects of computer engineering in electrical engineering program, but beyond that, they are different fields. An electrical engineer may know a lot about “computer” but that does not mean they are good in computer science. They are simply using computers to help them solve a problem. Remember, computer science and computer engineering are also different programs, even though they have many in common.
